Continuing our quest to find the tastiest holiday dishes that won’t pack on the pounds, we’ve come up with some healthy appetizers that will win you fans at whatever soirée you attend. Most sneak in wheat germ for added nutrition without losing an ounce of flavor. Let’s get this party started!

Black Bean, Mango and Wheat Germ Salsa: Liven up any party with this tasty salsa, which adds sweet mango for a great blend of flavors. Serve with baked tortilla chips.

Deviled Eggs with Wheat Germ: Popular but never boring, deviled eggs disappear off the tray at breakneck speed at holiday gatherings. We add wheat germ for extra nutrition and texture, and you can experiment even more: Swap out the sweet relish and Dijon mustard for a teaspoon of chopped chipotle chilies for deviled eggs with a smoky kick.

Baked Chicken Fingers with Honey Mustard Sauce: Perfect for a family gathering, these munchies aren’t just for the kids — though you may have to fight them for one!

Baked Clams with Wheat Germ: Take it up a notch with this delicate, tasty hors d’oeuvre. We replaced the usual breadcrumbs with wheat germ; you can do the same with most of your favorite dishes that call for breadcrumbs.

Arugula and Fava-Bean Crostini: These elegant toasts are delicious, using heart-healthy olive oil to combine healthful arugula and fava beans (which can also be swapped out for edamame). Try adding a tablespoon or more of Kretschmer Wheat Germ when mixing the ingredients in the food processor.
